- Please read the handout on Prewriting posted to the Handouts section of the website
- Spend at least an hour exploring two or more of the various prewriting techniques in order to generate a topic for your essay and possible evidence. Focus on generating a good inquiry about the essay that we have read, and assembling evidence relevant to that inquiry. You need not have a thesis at this point; I would rather see you work from an inquiry and evidence to your thesis than vice-versa.
- Bring your pre-writing to class. Please bring the articles you are interested in writing about to class as well.
